We use sessionStorage and localStorage (browser-based storage) solely for functional purposes such as saving your quote form progress and managing your session. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to third parties.

We use Vercel Analytics, a cookieless, privacy-friendly analytics service that collects anonymous page-view data without collecting personal information or placing any tracking identifiers on your device.

Insurance Carriers

We share your information with insurance carriers to obtain quotes and facilitate coverage. This is necessary to provide our services.

Service Providers

We use the following third-party service providers to operate our website and services:

• AI Assistant (Anthropic): Our chat assistant is powered by Claude AI. Conversations are processed through Anthropic's API to generate responses. Chat data is not stored permanently by SmartInsured or Anthropic beyond the active session.
• Analytics (Vercel): We use Vercel Analytics for cookieless, anonymous page-view analytics. No personal data is collected by this service.
• Lead Management (Google Sheets): Quote form submissions are stored in Google Sheets so our agents can follow up with you. This data is protected by access controls and used only for servicing your insurance inquiry.
• Address Autocomplete (Google Places API): When you enter a business address, address lookups are sent to the Google Places API to provide autocomplete suggestions.
• Content Delivery (Google Fonts, Cloudflare/cdnjs): Fonts and icons are loaded from third-party content delivery networks (Google Fonts and cdnjs via Cloudflare). These services may receive your IP address as part of standard web requests.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information, including encryption, secure access controls, and regular security assessments.

Sensitive operations such as lead data submission and AI processing are handled server-side to prevent exposure of credentials and service endpoints. We use IP-based rate limiting on our API endpoints to prevent abuse.
